The Best of Washington, D.C.

There is no shortage of things to do in and around Washington, D.C.  From museums to concerts to sporting events, there is always something for everyone.  When you come to D.C., it is important to work with someone that knows the city and can help you plan your day accordingly, so you can maximize your enjoyment and minimize your travel time.

Our professional drivers know our city.  They know the events that are happening and the traffic flow around them.  They understand street closures, which happen all the time here, and some of the best places to start and end your day.  From the Smithsonian Museums to the Lincoln Memorial, our drivers can help you see the best of Washington, D.C.

Our proprietary app, ezRidr, which is available for all smartphones lets you plan your pickup and delivery where – and when – you need it.  We make it that simple.  You can even pay our drivers in their car with cash but still use app.  Running late for the Kennedy Center?  Look on our dashboard to see how fast our cars can get to you.  Concert ending late at Capital One Arena?  No worries – we never have surcharges and we always have cars on nearby.  Our fleet contains over 1,500 cars – all Ambassadors for you.

Washington, D.C. is so much more than a city.  It’s the seat of our government, the home to our Congress and Senate and over 71 fantastic museums, each focusing on a different subject.  And if that isn’t enough, there are over 50 art museums, from small ones to the National Gallery of Art. With those many options you can see why having an ambassador for your trip makes sense.

Feeling hungry during your day?  Don’t rely on just Yelp!  We are home to over 2,300 restaurants, each focusing on a different type or version of cuisine.  From Asian fare in Chinatown to Seafood at Eastern Market, our city has it all!  Finding the right place, at the right time of day, and getting to and from there is, many times, the most challenging part.

We’re also home to the FBI, Treasury Department, and many other government buildings which offer tours on a first come first basis.  Each of these has something special to share.  Love history?  Head to the National Archives and learn more about how our great country was founded.  Springtime?  See the Cherry Blossom Parade and experience the wonders these trees, a gift to our country, have to offer.

Our zoo, the National Zoo, is one of the most famous in the world.  The animals love to see our guests and there is always something special happening there.  And if all this wasn’t enough, there’s always time to “Rock The Red” in our city by taking a tour of the Nationals Stadium (offered daily at certain times, year-round), or take in a Wizards or Capitals game at Capital One.  Feeling sporty during the day?  It’s easy to go to a Caps practice – our best free ticket in town!

At the end of the day, whether you’re travelling to/from Reagan National Airport, a private residence, hotel, or just your daily fare, UVC is here to take you where you need to go, on time, with excellent customer service.  When you see our red cars on the road, you can be confident that our drivers, or ambassadors as we call them, are ready to help you get the best out of your trip to Washington, D.C. any time of the day or night.
